Poems must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26th  at the Main Library, 1120 East Calton Road.

United High School's UIL CX Debate Team will go to Austin, Texas on March 18-20th to compete in the UIL State CX Debate Tournament.
 
The students under the direction of Michele Lopez that are competing in this prestigious meet are: Mario Martinez, Gabriela Madrid, Albert Long, and Astrid Santos. We wish them a safe trip and the best of luck to the CX Debate Team!

Welcome to our 2009-2010 academic year!
 
It is with excitement and anticipation that we begin our year at our new campus.  We have a world class facility providing a world class education for all our students.
 
Through the hard work, dedication and commitment of our students and staff we have achieved a "Recognized" rating by the Texas Education Agency.  Our commitment is to continually improve our delivery of instruction to fully prepare our students for post-secondary education or the workforce.
 
United High School will continue to hold our "Tradition of Excellence" not only in academics but all extracurricular activities as well.  Our teachers and coaches will continue to provide all our athletes and UIL competitors with the knowledge and skills needed to perform at the highest levels in every field of competition.
 
I would like to invite all our parents to visit our campus and meet and greet our staff.  We welcome parents and our community to become involved with the education of our students.  Together we will build the foundations of knowledge in all our students so that all their hopes and dreams may be achieved!
