Dual Language - Guided Research Handout

 

Directions: You will be assigned to a significant individual of the American Revolution, an organization or an event during the Revolutionary Era.  You will display your findings on a tri-fold in Spanish. Answer these questions as a guide to the information you will present on your tri-fold. This handout is an assignment grade.  Share this with me at ahurtado@uisd.net before starting your research.  I will be checking your progress every day. Consider the following questions when doing your research:

 

If you are researching an INDIVIDUAL answer the following questions:    

 

  1. When and where was this person born? (Donde y cuando nacio esta persona?)

 

  1. Was he or she ever married? Did he or she have any children?( Esta persona estubo casada(o)? Con quien?Tuvo hijo(a)s?)

 

 

  1. Did this person attend college or university? If so, which one? (Asistio al colegio o universidad?)

 

  1. What was his or her view of  the taxes imposed by Great Britain and on independence? ( Cuales eran sus creencias o filosofia con respecto a los impuestos que impuso Inglaterra y sobre la independencia?)

 

 

  1. How did he or she contribute to the American Revolution? ( Como contribuyo a la revolucion? Cuales fueron sus logros principales?)
