001N - TCH SEC - HEALTH & P.E.
I graduated from High School in 2000 from Sanford-Fritch High School. I studied Kinesiology at Tarleton State University in Stephenville TX. I ran track at TSU where I am a 5x All-American. I met my husband Jesus Villasenor at TSU, he played football at TSU and now is the Defensive Coordinator at UHS. We have two beautiful kids together.
Bachelor in Kinesiology, I have my CDL(that means I can drive a B bus!), I am RadKids certified, CPR and First Aide certified.
This is my second year teaching at United 9th campus and I love it! It is my 6th year teaching and coaching at UISD. I teach health, and I am the Head girls Track Coach at United and Assistant XC Coach.
I first got into education 15 years ago as an intern at Tarleton State University. I coached the hurdles and decided that I wanted to make it a career. From there, my husband and I moved to Dallas, TX in 2008 where we started our first year teaching. Since then we have taught in Amarillo, Brownfield, and now Laredo.
I am from a small town near Amarillo. I attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. I am the Head Girls’ Track Coach at United High School and the assistant XC Coach. I am married to the man of my dreams Coach Villasenor who I met in college. He is the PE teacher at the freshman campus too and the Defensive Coordinator at United High School. We have two amazing kids Jayven, a freshman at the 10th-gradesth grade campus (because it's the best school), and Amiyah who will be attending Herrera MS this year as an 8th grader. We have an Aussiedoodle (Australian Sheppard/poodle) named Dodge and a Golden Retriever named Clifford.
I enjoy spending time with my family, football and camping, hiking, bird watching, and anything outdoors. I also started sewing and doing refurbished wood projects with my husband. I am an advocate for healthy eating and living a healthy life.
